3rd National Workshop on Research and Development in Food Processing Sector

The 3rd National Workshop on Research and Development in Food Processing Sector will be organised on 17th November at ITC Maratha, Mumbai. The workshop will be concurrent to “ FOODWORLD INDIA 2011” ­ which is the global convention for food business and industry and will be held from November 16­17, 2011.

The one day workshop will have following sessions:

• R&D in Health and Wellness foods
• Processing Technologies for waste reduction and by­product utilisation
• Generating and Protecting ideas­Industry­Academia­Government Interface

With relevant topics of current trend, the workshop is an opportunity to be part of the discussions, knowledge sharing and learning. We invite the stakeholders, researchers and academicians who are engaged in Food Processing Sector to participate in the workshop.

The program will bring together experts who are researching, developing, and inventing new food products and technologies, with the aim of a industry-academia collaboration on best practices in product design and commercialization. The community of researchers, policy analysts, policy makers and industry representatives together will share their specific knowledge on the subject and translate the individual insights into sound support to policy making.
